OK, I should now start to research a topic.... As I go to Emmanuel College here at UQ, file sharing and downloading music (and often lots of random things aswell) is a very big thing. I have noticed that my music tastes have suffered and I fink myself listening to a lot more cheesy 80s tracks and pathetic little pop dittys than I like to admit.... So, I am thinking I might discuss the effect of sharing music on music preference, rather than the actual 'stealing' of the music. I used to spend all of my money and a lot of time getting into new, more alternative stuff yet now listen to a lot more mainstream crap.(although in my defence it is often while in someone else's room). I might even start a survey around college to see how many people this has affected.

Saw a great band for the first time on Friday night at the Troubadour... Most of you have probably heard of Andromeda, a Melbourne-based band. They put on a great show, complete with squealy (in a good way) lyrics and a bit of rolling around on the floor.... Had the great fortune of running into the lead singer in the ladies (I think her name is Sienna) and had a chat - she is lovely and very down to earth. Anyway, I will try and create a link to their website.... although I am a bit technically challenged so bare with me....
